Jessie James Decker's Cajun Shrimp Pasta
I’ve been recently loving me some Jessie James Decker recipes and wanted to give another one a try! People have also been loooooving all my JJD recipe posts so I figured one more wouldn’t hurt. This dish is EASYYY, delicious and damnit it’s good. I’ve noticed that Jessie adds diced tomatoes with green chilies in a lot of her recipes and adding it to this shrimp pasta recipe defiantly gave it the pop of flavor it needed. Ya’ll give it a try, you wont be disappointed!
Step One: Cook the pasta according to the packaging, drain and set aside.
Step Two: In a large, deep skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 2 minutes. Add in the asparagus and sauté for an additional 3 minutes until asparagus is bright green.
Step Three: Add the shrimp and cook for 4 minutes till pink. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper. Pour in the Ro-Tel and half-and-half and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add in cooked pasta. Toss evenly and add in a generous amount of parmesan cheese. And you’re done! Serve immediately and enjoy.
